Independent artist Magô Pool is releasing her newest collection of comic books titled “Stories Told While I Sold Popcorn on the Corner of the Art Gallery.” The edition will feature dozens of comic books published on her social media between 2022 and 2024.

With a launch scheduled at the International Comics Fair, FIQ , held in May in Belo Horizonte, the edition brings together an in-depth view of Magô Pool's creative process over the last few years.

"This collection is not just a compilation of comics. It is a testament to resistance, dedication and creativity. It is my way of defying the limitations of time and circumstances to share my vision of the world," describes Magô, who produced the stories inspired by moments of contagious joy as well as melancholic reflections.

The resulting compilation is 230 printed pages in a variety of narratives that cover a wide range of themes and styles, with the cartoonist taking readers through a rich and engaging emotional spectrum.
